What is
my role?
I first joined Studied International as a Financial Management tutor in February 2024. I privately tutor a second-year Business Analytics student, with 2 sessions per week, combining both theory and practice. I tutored the student until April 2024, at which time he succesfully passed his exam. In the meantime, I was interested in joining the HQ team and contribute to education with Studied.
I started as one of the members of the Business Development team, in which we manage our partnership with study and student associations across Maastricht, a university town. Our responsibilities included the evaluation of our current partnerships and contracting with new partners. Therefore, I use my prior knowledge of the associations scene (given my previous experiences at SCOPE and SBE), as weel as my network, to increase our partners portfolio. When evaluating our partners, we arrange meetings to discuss of each of our strengths and flaws, with the goal of improving the partnership perfomance on both sides. In the process of contracting with new associations, my colleague and I conducted market research, negotiation meetings and agreement write-ups. Our team has signed 10 new partnership agreement within 5 months.
As a new member joined our team and our partnership was running smoothly, I was promoted to manager of the team. The team is now expanding its target region, concluding agreements with associations across the Netherlands. Subsequently, I oversee the work of my two colleagues and organize weekly check-ups to discuss our current performances, new partnerships under negotiation, and strategic guidelines. I am also working, with the founder and sales team, on B2B Development.
I have also been integrated to the marketing team (upon request). My responsibilities here include: creating and providing Studied promotional content to be shared by our partners (via their own platforms), tracking partners posting about Studied, and conceptualizing a partner brochure for our Business Development team.
